To determine the source and cause of the water ingress, we investigated and tested the sliding door sub sill flashings, balconies and wall cavities.
The waterproofing membrane had been compromised.
Our investigations and leak detection tests indicated that the waterproofing membrane of the tiled terrace areas had been compromised. To rectify this, a state-of-the-art waterproofing solution was applied.
Additionally, water was entering through the sliding door subsills, wall cavities and several windows.
The building’s aesthetics was improved.
The result of our remedial building and waterproofing rectification works has now safeguarded the building against further water ingress. Additionally, the aesthetic appeal and longevity of each terrace have been drastically improved.
